Rangers have declared that manager of soccer Mark Allen will depart after two years at Ibrox.
Allen informed Rangers he feels it is the perfect time for him to explore other career choices and also to proceed for family reasons, along with the team accepted his choice.
He joined the team in summer 2017 and has been instrumental in recruiting Ryan Kent in the Reds, the club ‘s second-most expensive signing and selecting Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as manager in his or her background.
Gerrard said:”I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mark for the amazing service he’s shown me and my team since I came into the club 16 months ago.
“Mark’s victory here is clear for everyone to see and we’d all like to wish him well moving ahead.”
Allen added:”It has been a privilege to work for Rangers, one of the greatest clubs in football with such a incredible fan base, and I have loved every moment.
“Bringing Steven Gerrard to the club will stay a particular point in my profession and I would love to thank him, the players and most of the outstanding staff at Rangers for his or her support.
“My greatest wish would be for Rangers to start winning prizes again and I wish them the best for the future”
Managing director Stewart Robertson said:”On behalf of this Board, I want to thank Mark for his work.
“We’re disappointed to lose him but we appreciate the impact he made and that he leaves Rangers in a better position than when he came.
“Losing a person of his calibre is a blow but the clinics he put in place at the club will put us in good stead for the long run. We wish Mark well in his future career.”
