Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero will play it back again, as the two fighters will do battle for the second time at the main event of UFC 225. Whittaker, who won the first match at UFC 213, is the -260 favorite with Romero coming back at +200.
The first fight between Whittaker and Romero played out as a lot of people could have predicted, together with Romero winning the first rounds because of his explosiveness and wrestling while Whittaker’s aerobic vascular and volume striking ultimately won him the struggle in the later rounds.
Whittaker has not fought because UFC 213, since he suffered a staph infection, which derailed a title defense against Luke Rockhold at UFC 221.
Romero stepped into the shoes of Whittaker and stuffed in for the winner to compete against Rockhold. Romero won that fight with his striking over his wrestling, as his ability got to Rockhold and led to yet another third-round stoppage success for”The Soldier of God.”
